Getting a token
- Sign in to Moneybird and open Instellingen → Koppelingen → API-tokens (Settings → Integrations → API tokens).
- Create a personal access token and put it in
MONEYBIRD_API_TOKEN. - Set
MONEYBIRD_ADMINISTRATION_IDto the numeric administration id. It is in the URL when you are logged in —moneybird.com/123456789/…— andmoneybird_list_administrationsalso returns it.
Every data path carries the administration id. A Moneybird account can hold several administrations (one per company, or a bookkeeper's client list) and each has its own id. This connector is fixed to one; add a second connector for a second administration.
Rate limit: roughly 150 requests per five minutes per token, and Moneybird answers a burst with 429 plus a Retry-After. Pace bulk work rather than retrying immediately.
Filtering is a single comma-separated string, not repeated parameters: filter=period:this_year,state:open. Available keys differ per resource — for sales invoices the useful ones are period, state (draft, open, late, paid, all) and contact_id.
Paging is page (1-based) and per_page (max 100). There is no total count in the body; a short page means you have reached the end.
Amounts are strings in euros, and total_price_incl_tax is not total_price_excl_tax. Pick the one the question actually means.
