前提条件
完全なセットアップ手順はコネクタ自体に組み込まれています (ストアでコネクタを選択すると表示)。必要な環境変数:

ステップ 1 — 認証情報を取得
- apps.goshippo.com/join で Shippo アカウントを無料で作成し、portal.goshippo.com/api-config/api の API ポータルを開いて API Configuration → Developer keys に進みます。
- 無料ですべてを試すなら Create new test key を、実際のラベルを購入するなら Create new live key をクリックします。キーはその場でコピーしてください。Shippo が表示するのは一度だけです。テストキーは
shippo_test_、本番キーはshippo_live_で始まります。 - キーを表示されたとおりに、ShippoToken という語を付けずに
SHIPPO_API_TOKENに貼り付け、コネクタをインストールします。 - まず
shippo_list_carrier_accountsを実行します。米国ですぐに使える Shippo 自身の配送業者アカウント（たとえば USPS）が、shippo_get_trackingで使う配送業者名と一緒に表示されるはずです。
テストか本番か: どちらになるかはキーで決まります。テストキーではラベルは無料で「SAMPLE - DO NOT MAIL」の透かしが入り、追跡番号は更新されず、返金は常に成功し、マニフェスト（スキャンフォーム）は使えません。テストキーからはテストデータだけが、本番キーからは本番データだけが見えます。自分の配送業者の認証情報で Shippo に接続した配送業者アカウントは、追加したときのモードでしか使えません。
ラベルの購入には費用がかかります: 本番キーでは、shippo_buy_label がラベル料金（保険を付けた場合はその料金も）をすぐに Shippo アカウントに請求します。そのため AI は先に配送業者、サービス、料金、両方の住所を示し、あなたの承認を待ちます。shippo_create_shipment はリアルタイムの料金を取得するだけで、何も購入しません。ラベルのリンクはしばらくすると期限切れになります。shippo_get_label で新しいリンクを取得できます。shippo_request_refund はラベルを無効にし（以後は使えません）、配送業者に返金を求めます。対象は未使用で発行から 90 日以内のラベルだけで、返金には数日から数週間かかります。
権限と読み取り専用の設定: キーは Shippo アカウントでできることをすべて実行できます。費用が発生せず、ラベルも無効にしない設定にするには、shippo_buy_label、shippo_request_refund、shippo_create_manifest を無効にします。それでも AI は住所の検証、料金の比較、荷物の追跡、過去のラベルの確認ができます。
国際配送: 税関申告書が必要です。AI は shippo_create_customs_item で商品ごとに 1 行（品名、数量、正味重量、価格、原産国、関税番号）を作成し、続いて shippo_create_customs_declaration で内容を証明する署名者を指定して申告書を作り、配送に添付します。商品の関税番号と価格を手元に用意しておいてください。
住所の検証: shippo_validate_address は、確認して標準化した住所（たとえば ZIP+4 コード付き）を新しい住所として保存し、元の住所はそのまま残します。以後の配送は新しい住所に送ります。テストキーでは米国外の住所は確認されずにそのまま返され、本番キーではその検証は有料です。
制限: Shippo で 1 分あたりに許可されるのは、作成 500 回、個別オブジェクトの読み取り 4,000 回ですが、一覧の取得は 50 回（テストキーでは 10 回）だけです。上限を超えると Shippo は 429 を返します。1 分待ってからやり直してください。
よくあるエラー: 401 Token does not exist は、キーが間違っているか削除されたことを示します。API Configuration → Developer keys で新しいキーを作成し、ShippoToken という語を付けずに貼り付けてください。400 では、欠けているか無効なフィールドが示されます。たとえば配送業者が受け付けない住所などです。422、またはステータスが ERROR のラベルは、配送業者に拒否されたことを示します。たとえばそのサービスがその区間に対応していない場合や、税関データが足りない場合です。理由はメッセージに書かれています。ステータスが QUEUED または WAITING のラベルや返金はまだ処理中です。数秒後にもう一度確認してください。
このコネクタは、バッチ、注文、集荷、追跡登録以外の Webhook、自分の配送業者アカウントの接続には対応していません。

ステップ 3 — ChatGPT にコネクタを追加
サーバーURL: AnythingMCP で MCP Servers を開き、このコネクタがあるサーバーを選んで URL（
https://cloud.anythingmcp.com/mcp/…）をコピーします。このガイドでYOUR_SERVER_IDと表示されている箇所に使ってください。
ChatGPT は開発者モード（Developer mode）で MCP サーバーをカスタムアプリとして接続します。有料プランで利用でき、無料プランでは使えません。Business・Enterprise のワークスペースでは、先に管理者が許可する必要がある場合があります。
- ChatGPT で Settings → Security and login を開き、Developer mode をオンにします。
- chatgpt.com/plugins を開き、+ をクリックします。
