Pancake

This connector calls the Pancake public API (https://pages.fm/api/public_api) for one Pancake page with that page's page access token: conversations and their messages, conversation tags, assignment and read state, page customers and notes, posts, staff and the page, staff and tag statistics. Pancake (pages.fm, pancake.vn, pancake.biz) gathers a page's Facebook, Instagram, Zalo, WhatsApp, TikTok and other channels in one inbox; every page connected in Pancake has its own id and token, so add the connector once per page.

Writes need a yes. Before pancake_update_customer tell the user what will change and wait for their confirmation. Tagging, assigning, marking read or unread and adding a note (pancake_tag_conversation, pancake_assign_conversation, pancake_mark_conversation_read, pancake_mark_conversation_unread, pancake_add_customer_note) only change the shared inbox, the customer does not see them; do them when the user asked for them. The three tools that write to the customer, pancake_send_message, pancake_reply_comment and pancake_send_private_reply, are installed switched off: an admin turns them on deliberately, and even then show the exact text and wait for a yes before sending.

Setup (about 2 minutes)

1. Sign in at https://pages.fm, open the page and go to Settings, Tools (Cai dat, Cong cu). Copy the Page Access Token into PANCAKE_PAGE_ACCESS_TOKEN. It does not expire until it is deleted or regenerated, and it only works for this page.
2. Put the page's id into PANCAKE_PAGE_ID: the number in the page's Pancake address (https://pages.fm/<page id>), or the id with its channel prefix for non-Facebook pages, such as waba_102952029333366. The token travels as the page_access_token query parameter, the only way Pancake accepts it, and only to pages.fm.

IDs

• Conversations: id from pancake_list_conversations. Inbox threads look like <page id>_<customer id>, comment threads like <post id>_<comment id>.
• Tags: numeric id from pancake_list_tags. Staff: id (a UUID) from pancake_list_staff. Customers: id from pancake_list_customers.

Times: since and until are Unix timestamps in seconds (UTC); several endpoints accept at most about one month between them. date_range (pancake_staff_statistics) is DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS - DD/MM/YYYY HH:MM:SS in the page's own time zone (UTC+7 for a page in Vietnam). Times in responses are UTC without an offset.

Workflow

• Triage the inbox: pancake_list_conversations (60 at a time, newest first; pass the last id as last_conversation_id for the next 60), then pancake_get_messages.
• Label and route: pancake_list_tags, then pancake_tag_conversation with action add or remove; pancake_list_staff, then pancake_assign_conversation; pancake_mark_conversation_read or pancake_mark_conversation_unread.
• Customers: pancake_list_customers, pancake_update_customer, pancake_add_customer_note.
• Content and reports: pancake_list_posts, pancake_page_statistics, pancake_staff_statistics, pancake_tag_statistics.
• Replies (when switched on): pancake_send_message in an inbox thread, pancake_reply_comment under a comment, pancake_send_private_reply to message the author of a comment privately (Facebook, up to 7 days after the comment). Platform rules apply: Facebook and Instagram only allow free replies within 24 hours of the customer's last message.

Rate limit: 5 requests per second per page. A 429 means slow down and retry after a moment.

Common errors: Pancake answers most errors with HTTP 200 and success: false; the connector turns them into errors. Invalid access_token (error 102) means the page token is wrong, was regenerated, or belongs to another page than PANCAKE_PAGE_ID. Statistics need a token whose page role may view reports.

Out of scope here: listing the pages of an account and generating page tokens (they use a personal user token that expires), uploading media and sending images, WhatsApp template messages, editing or deleting notes, round-robin settings, ads, call logs and data exports, the chat plugin, webhooks, and Pancake POS (orders, products and stock live in the separate POS API).
